The patent pending Silencer Timing Device (STD) made by Heresy Design was designed for timing muzzle devices or silencer mounts. It can also be used to retain direct thread silencers. Unlike traditional 6-10 piece shim sets, the STD simplifies the process with 3 washers, and can be installed in under 60-seconds.
The Silencer Timing Device is designed to fit either 1/2″ or 5/8″ threaded barrels seamlessly. By ensuring precise alignment of your suppressor, it eliminates the risk of baffle or endcap strikes. It can also be used to retain direct thread silencers. Once installed, the washers form a tension that is strong enough to prevent silencer walk off.
With the Silencer Timing Device, installation is straightforward and hassle-free. Users can mount their muzzle device or silencer mount in less than 1 minute.
